The Seattle Space Needle is reflected and distorted by the MoPop's (Museum of Popular Culture) metal tiles.
Architect Frank Gehry's buildings are pure art. They look completely different as the sun moves and as you walk around them, making them an absolute joy to photograph. One could easily spend a week or more shooting each building, never getting bored and always finding some new aspect — well, at least I could.
In this image, you can see Seattle's iconic Space Needle, which towers over the museum, reflected in the MoPop and distorted by the colorful panels. It's well worth a trip to Seattle to see both landmarks, not to mention the natural beauty of Washington State. (The contents of the museum are interesting, as well.) But I would recommend you plan your visit for the summer to get the most out of the changing colors and dimensions of the architectural wonder.
